When working with your team on grant-funded projects, having flexibility and a variety of options is essential for successful implementation. To help with this, we provide tools that allow you to control and manage access to specific project content and features.
You can grant project access to team members, individuals within your organisation, or external individuals, such as donor contact persons, auditors, and collaborators, based on your project’s needs.
To assign project permissions, click +Add in the Project Permission section within Project Info.
You have two options:
- If the person you want to assign project access to is an employee of your organisation and added in Users, select Employee. Additional options will appear. Choose their name from the dropdown menu User, then choose their role from the dropdown menu Role. Next, specify the level of access for each project tab (e.g., Budget, Activities, Tasks, Expenses) by selecting Only View, Add/Edit, or No Access. Click Save to confirm the project sharing.
Please note: To add an individual as a user of your organisation, meaning employee, they must use the organisation’s official email or a private email used only for your organisation’s projects.
- If the individual is not an employee but is involved in the project as a contracted coordinator, expert, auditor, etc., select Invite by E-mail. Enter their email address in the Add E-mail field, select their role, and click Save.
- If they already have account, you can immediately assign them access to each of the Tabs.
If there is no onProject account associated with this email, the individual will need to register on onProject. To send them invitation, click Invite.
Once registered, you can share the project with them and assign access for each project tab (e.g., Budget, Activities, Tasks, Expenses).
Once the project has been successfully shared, the member will see it listed in the Projects menu when they login into onProject.eu.
This method also allows you to share the project with the donor’s contact person, auditors and other external parties.
