Budget Allocation


Budget allocation is a useful feature that allows you to plan your project’s budget spending effectively.

This option is available only if you have selected “Instalments Planning” when creating the project and have added instalments in the Project Info section. 

With budget allocation, you can assign specific amounts of your project budget to each instalment. This lets you plan which expenses should be paid in each instalment period.

To allocate a budget, go to the Budget Allocation menu. From the drop-down menu, select the instalment to which you want to allocate funds. Click the Allocate button to start the allocation process. You will preview a copy of the project budget. 

Please note that you will only view the budget items within the selected instalment period. This has been defined in the Duration field when adding each budget item.

Click the pencil icon next to each budget item to set the quantities and/or the amount you want to spend. As you make modifications, the “Budget Allocation” section in the top-left corner will automatically update to show the selected installment amount and the total allocated funds.

Budget allocations per instalment will also be reflected in your project expenses and financial reports, allowing you to view how much has been spent for each instalment.

Tip: You can adjust budget allocations during the project implementation, even if they have already been set.
