Why add project instalments?

If your project budget is paid in two or more instalments, adding instalments in Project Info helps you plan, track, and report your budget with confidence.

Benefits of adding instalments

  • Better planning – Allocate budget items to specific instalment amounts so you always know what funds are available.
  • Cash flow control – Define the spending period for each instalment and decide which expenses should be covered in that timeframe.
  • Accurate reporting – Instalments automatically appear in Project Expenses and Financial Reports, so you can track both individual instalments and your total budget.

By setting up instalments, you’ll always know which expenses belong to which payment period and keep your project finances under control.

When can you add instalments?

The option to add instalments is available only if you selected Project Instalments – Instalments Planning when creating your project in onProject.
